UPDATE: Thanks to Aunt Christy for letting us borrow the Lion King movie. Both kiddos have seen it now - twice, actually. It is now Emily's favorite movie. She says she wants her NEXT party to be a Lion King party. According to her, we can play Pin the Tail on the Lion OR Pin the Mane on the Lion.

Tell Emily that in a heartbeat I'd decorate a room in Lion King again,... if it meant Clint and I had a room (house) of our own! Haha, oh well, one of these days.

Has she watched Lion King yet? It's been probably 8 years since I have watched it,... and I won't mind if it's another 8 before I have to show a kid of my own. It *IS* a good movie, but I'm still recovering from self-inflicted overdose. :-)

Enjoyed visiting your blog. I hadn't been there for a while, so I had quite a bit of reading and looking to do. I could see Hannah's first tooth on the enlarged picture.

What a treasure! Thank you for sharing this special Mommy/Daughter evening with us. I wish that I had journaled some of the "tucking in to bed" stories that my daughters use to share through the years. This seems to be the time of day that my girls would talk and sometimes even share some of the things on their heart. One story that just popped into my mind that you shared one weekend when you were home from college with a twinkle in your eye and a sweet smile on your face about a camping trip you went on with a group of friends but one cool blond guy's name kept coming up. So glad that the "he's just a friend, mom" turned out to be your "wonderful husband"
